Hello, welcome to my blog. I am Andy Morley – Website designer and search engine optimiser living in Derbyshire in the UK. I currently work for a company called Adtrak as an SEO Team Manager, based in Nottingham.

Web Designer.

I have been working in the web industry since June 2001, initially as a free lancer at the age of 20, whilst at the University Of Derby. Where I studied for a HND in Computer Systems Architecture, not entirely web design orientated I admit.

Early Days

I became interested in website design when I began looking into Yahoo Geocties which was an early attempt at Yahoo giving the average computer user the ability to create thier own home page, this lead to many wonderful creations (Andy’s World was mine).

Following my initial attempts with Yahoo Geocities I soon realised I was interested in the Web Design industry and began to teach myself HTML using www.w3schools.com.

University Life.

I went to the University of Derby where I studied HND Computer Systems Architecture, following my time at Derby University I did a further course at New College Nottingham, HND Multimeda. This course brushed on Web Design but was mainly centered around the Multimedia industry as a whole. Whilst studying I worked as a Freelance Web Designer, under the name of Yelrom Designs.

Work Experience.

When I had completed my studies I began working for a Nottingham based Internet company called LeenTech Ltd. I worked there for 2 years.

I then left LeenTech and formed my own Ltd Company called Evolution Media Services Ltd. I began working closley with an advertising Agency in Nottingham Called Adtrak where I now work as an SEO Team manager.
